Police report from Kidderminster SNT, dated 31st March 2023

I am pleased to say there is nothing to report this month.  We unfortunately have no representation for the forthcoming parish council meeting. However please see an update regarding priorities:

Burglary – No Burglary’s although it does remain a priority as an SNT we continue to conduct reassurance visits to victims and issue smartwater and crime prevention advice.  As well as identifying any vulnerable properties whilst on patrol.

Speeding – Rocky Lane, Stakenbridge Lane, Churchill Lane – Requests for volunteers is on-going by local councillor.  Safe place not yet identified.  We are aware there was a meeting at the site on Stakenbridge Lane on Wednesday 15th March however we were not informed of this until after the event due being sent to the incorrect SNT and then a wrong email address being given.  We have made contact with WCC Highways and are currently awaiting a response.

New Wood Lane – Police Ref 00585_I_29032023 – At approx. 21.00hrs 2-3 males were seen on cctv trying to open gates on a property in this location. They were unsuccessful on this occasion. Please report anyone acting in a suspicious manner to police

We would like to make you aware that we have another PC join our East and North Team. PC Ryan Bridgewood is our second officer working alongside PC Jamie Guest. However we have lost PCSO Alice Owen Jones until Autumn/ Christmas time as she has been asked to assist another area, who have a staff shortage
